Effectiveness Choice Theory Training on Rreducing feelings of loneliness in Introverted people

Evidence suggests that loneliness for health and quality of life is a risk factor and has a negative relationship with health-enhancing behaviors. The main purpose of this study is effectiveness Choice Theory Training on Reducing feelings of loneliness in introverted .This research is a Quasi-experimental design which is pre -post Test design with control group. At the beginning, the Eysenck Personality Inventory was selected by purposeful sampling of individuals and randomly assigned to a control and experimental group Were placed. Experimental group for 10 sessions, one session per week (90 minutes) Were trained based on the choice theory nd the control group did not receive any training or intervention.the statistical population of this study is the workers working at the automotive accessories factory Seraj Noor Toos (SNT) in City of Mashhad at 2016 year. data collection tools was Eysenck Personality Inventory (EPQ-90) and Loneliness questionnaire. Statistical data were analyzed using covariance analysis. The results of one-way covariance analysis in comparison with the components of loneliness (romantic loneliness, Social isolation and family loneliness) in Experimental and Control group ,showed that training the theory of choice has a significant effect on the research variables at the 0/05 level. From the theory of choice training can be used to reduce the components of loneliness in individuals. Therefore, it is necessary to consider this theory in clinical situations more than before.
